Kids from the slums get the opportunity to skate for free and that’s great. Food and accommodation are not the only things they need, they also need a passion like skateboarding. I think it’s life changing.

In 2017, an international group of professional skatepark builders joined local youth in Pokhara to construct Annapurna Skatepark, a free-of-charge international standard skatepark for everyone to enjoy which has since significantly contributed to the growth of the local skate scene.

In 2021, a small team of builders constructed a skatepark extension at Annapurna Skatepark to build on its success and provide a place that allows the locals to further develop their skating skills.
