Libya Finally has a Skatepark

On May 27th, after 6 weeks of hard work, a team of 12 international and numerous local volunteers completed construction of Tripoli Skatepark, a free of charge 800m² concrete skatepark in the center of Tripoli at the former girls military college.

Now that construction of the park is complete, we will launch free skateboard equipment rentals that will be managed by local skate coaches. The long-term goal is to establish free skate classes with a focus on girls participation, guaranteeing equal accessibility of all to the skatepark.
